Literature Text
There is no tomorrow I fear
All we have is tonight my dear
The Sun has said goodnight
But now there is light
Then the world stood still
And every breath was filled
Then fire and hell lacerated the sky
And then you whispered, "Why?"
Lush greenery was incinerated
While mother nature is eviscerated
Betrayed by those she cared for
Discarded as a simple whore
And now I turn to you on this shore
In these nights of love and days of war
Hold me now before our demise
For I don't know if we will see that sunrise
All we have is tonight my dear
The Sun has said goodnight
But now there is light
Then the world stood still
And every breath was filled
Then fire and hell lacerated the sky
And then you whispered, "Why?"
Lush greenery was incinerated
While mother nature is eviscerated
Betrayed by those she cared for
Discarded as a simple whore
And now I turn to you on this shore
In these nights of love and days of war
Hold me now before our demise
For I don't know if we will see that sunrise
This poem I composed when I saw a sunset that had the same kind of color as a nuclear explosion and so I started writing.
The second to last line came from the Crimethinc. book, Days of War and Nights of Love.
